There are many reasons for crime, including biological, psychological, economic, and social. The the crime may vary according to types of crime. While some crimes mostly committed economic reasons, factors other than can be predominantly influential in committing crimes. However, it thought that practically based on most problems arising from social psychological factors. For this reason, is essential investigate causes types. In study context, theft which were investigated by System Generalized Moments Method (GMM) selected countries (25 OECD countries) members Organization Economic Development Cooperation. determining member countries, data set all variables (unemployment, Gini coefficient as an indicator income inequality, consumer price index inflation, expenditures, population) included analysis was examined, a standard period (2013-2018) determined these data. Thus, effect 2013-2018. literature, used studies subject, but there not investigating expenditure variable will contribute literature. According system GMM results, while unemployment, inflation (consumer index), positively affect expenditures population have no effect.
